Not to keep harping on a pattern you can’t purchase, but the Vanilla Cami is one of my favorite tops for summer, especially when made with rayon challis. I imagine this is what wearing air would feel like. It’s so cool, comfortable, and forgiving, plus it’s a pretty easy sew.
About the Fabric
I used my leftovers from my second Vogue Jumpsuit and had plenty to work with this time.
- Black, Ivory, and Olive Floral Rayon Challis from Cali Fabrics
- FABRIC CONTENT: Rayon
- WEIGHT: Light Midweight
- STRETCH: none
About This Make
Nothing new here; I used the same options as last time minus the back accent:
- Plain Cami (view A)
- size 4
Notes
- I cut the straps at 10.5″ before attaching. The straps ended up too long on my previous cami so I had to fold them over and stitch to shorten them a bit. Plus, I overlapped the raw edge of the fabric by 0.5″ when anchoring them.
